What it’s like to work in a Danish organisation – and how the Danish workculture is reflected in the daily communication at work.

Danish work culture is known to have a “flat structure” with a focus on equality. And hierarchy? Well, that’s almost invisible.

Also, each employee is expected to do their work with a high level of independence. Coming from a culture with a (much) more clear hierarchical structure, the Danish work culture, with all its unwritten rules, can seem confusing.

In this 90 mins interactive webinar, it will partly focus on the cultural side and partly on the language side, you’ll learn how this “flat structure” manifests itself in the relation between boss and employees - and in-between co-workers.

You’ll learn:

How you should navigate in the “flat” Danish work culture.
How much respect you should show your boss.
How you’re expected to approach your own tasks and responsibilities.
You’ll also learn how this work culture reflects itself in the daily communication.

Through covering a few super practical expressions, we’ll add to your Danish toolbox so you’ll be better equipped language wise – in your current or in your future job in a Danish organisation.

….all without being either too direct or too formal.

What you’ll get

After this training, you’ll have a much clearer understanding of Danish work culture , what’s expected of you and you’ll know some hands-on, practical expressions you can use right away.

Who’s the training for?

Danish-learners of upper elementary and intermediate levels will get most out of the language part of the training. But beginners will also benefit.

What if I can’t join the live training?

If you are interested in this training but can’t join, the training will be recorded and within 36 hours of the training, you’ll receive a direct link to the recording. You’ll have lifetime access to the recording so you can watch it in your own time.
